Dine Out for No Kid Hungry
Dine Out for No Kid Hungry is a year-round, restaurant-led campaign to raise funds to end childhood hunger in America. The Dine Out for No Kid Hungry team approached Clickfarm Interactive looking for a solution to improve user experience and to facilitate the onboarding process for participating restaurants, as well as to support participating restaurants throughout a fundraising campaign.
Clickfarm worked with Dine Out’s internal team to rework and refine the site’s organizational structure, to facilitate key content additions – including case studies of campaigns in action – and to simplify messaging throughout the site. The site was redesigned from the ground up, featuring user-friendly onboarding forms, subtle animations and leveraging the fun and inspirational images provided by participating restaurants.
Dineout.nokidhungry.org was built on Drupal and features a robust, custom content administration portal for adding, managing and tracking the over 8,000 participating restaurant locations throughout their individual campaigns. The site also leverages the Google Maps API to provide a location-based map for connecting the public to restaurants who support Dine Out for No Kid Hungry.
